ZeoFill Artificial Turf Infill to Control The Dog Urine Smell ZeoFill® is a world leading artificial turf infill used to control the odour that our pets create. It also helps to stabilise the surface of the lawn after installations. ZeoFill® is made from 100% organic volcanic ash minerals.
Zeofill® is a form of infill that is 100% natural. In its natural state, zeolite contains small silica crystals. Before it is used as an infill material for artificial turf, the jagged pieces of silica are removed, leaving behind the lighter weight elements of the zeolite. There are many types of infill available to choose from. Sand, sand/silica mixtures, pea gravel, and crumb rubber are all common choices for infill when homeowners choose to install artificial turf. Zeofill® is one of the few options that has benefits across the board when it comes to being non-toxic, odour efficient, and water friendly.

The answer is No.
ZeoFill® is 100% permeable due its honeycomb like molecular structure. Unlike other infills for synthetic grass ZeoFill® will not clog the drain holes in your synthetic grass.
ZeoFill® will help to reduce the bad odours that can generate from dog urine. However it is compulsory to maintain the ZeoFill® and your lawn as per the warranty card issue. This may include using a recommended Enzyme on the infill, brush and maintain the grass, follow the instructions etc.
There is no exact numbers on when to maintain your lawn. It depends on number of factors such as the number of dogs, usage, size or weight of your dogs, the food that they consume including protein %, if any urine infections or any other health conditions etc.
If you start smelling the urine this could be due to number of factors such as light rainfall, dogs urinating to the same spot etc. that you may need to temporary block. We recommend you using a liquid base enzyme spray or contact us for more assistance.
Yes, Zeofill® has been tested as an infill for synthetic grass and serves the same purpose as silica sand while providing the additional benefits for dog areas such as water permeability, cooling down the yarn and controlling the urine smell etc.
Yes, as ZeoFill® is 100% organic there is no harm for real grass. ZeoFill® will work it’s way to the soil.
Yes, that is the best solution to clean the ZeoFill® rather using the tap water. Due to the sodium ion in the rainwater, it will help ZeoFill® will be recharged. This will allow the urine bacteria/ammonia flush from it.
